than 100 archaic words replaced with contemporary Russian, providing a more
readable text without losing the literary style. Hypertexted appendices include
the Nicene Creed, a harmony of the four Gospels, links to the miracles and
parables of Jesus Christ, and a daily Bible-reading plan. This Bible can be
downloaded and used off-line. NavSearch, a browser add-on with a search engine
can be downloaded separately (instructions included) to provide a concordance.

Radiotserkov News (Far East Broadcasting Company) Russian, 1251 Windows A free service of FEBC, Radiotserkov [Radiochurch] News is updated regularly, providing current information on religious freedom issues, as well as the activities of various churches and missions in Russia, both national and international. English translations of articles of international interest can often be found on Paul Steeves’ Religion in Russia web site. This appears to be the only in-country Protestant Russian news service. It provides news from throughout Russia, in contrast to the many services which focus on Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Amnesty International Amnesty International seeks to protect human rights without reference to state ideology or the beliefs of victims. It collects and analyzes information from a wide variety of sources, including hundreds of newspapers and journals, government bulletins, transcripts of radio broadcasts, and reports from lawyers and humanitarian organizations. Center for Apologetics Research Formed in 1993, the primary task of the Center for Apologetics Research, St. Petersburg, Russia, is to equip Christian leaders and laity in the former Soviet Union to defend the historic Christian faith by providing training and Russian-language resource materials on cults. This informative web page provides a complete list of the Center’s Russian-language resources, as well as complete texts (requires Adobe Acrobat Reader) of 16 of its 66 articles, brochures, newsletters, and books.
Christian Website Collection Russian, KOI-8 Mikhail Zeleniy, an Orthodox believer and student at St. Filaret Orthodox Christian High School, has compiled a list of links to various Russian Orthodox institutions, including eparchies, churches, monasteries, educational institutions, social organizations, and publishers, as well as links to English-language Orthodox sites and other Christian sites worldwide. Chrzescijanska Spolecznosc Internetu (Christian Internet Fellowship) Polish Contains many links and addresses to fellowships all over Poland and is known for its forum which contains 30 to 60 letters daily—usually small notes with references to facilitate use.
